Normally I'm not excited by the random bro who impresses his high school girlfriend by driving one wheel of his F-150 up onto some accumulated snow. This Jeep, on the other hand, caught my attention, as well as the attention of most passers by at this local Cincinnati strip mall. Not only is that snow plow pile about as tall as a Ford Focus, but there is some decent suspension articulation going on here. To top it all off, he's parked right in front of an "Additional Parking" sign, which made my day. More pics:

He also had part of his roof removed. Hope it was warm!

By comparison, this is about all a Liberty can handle.

I did that one day with my old YJ (ok, not that tall of a pile, but pretty decent). This was early in my driving career. That was the day I found out it didn't have locking diffs, and what a locking diff is good for.

One of the perks of driving around in one of these monsters, I can use the parking spaces lesser vehicles can't, freeing up parking for others.

When in captivity the Jeep will often lash out with excited displays of climbing, fording and crawling.

Thats what's great about Jeeps. If we could just get our wheels to touch first, we could drive right up a wall. Literally.
Here's my XJ from a few years back (shameless repost of my own pic):
I had to stand on my tire to get out.

I saw a random jeep parked like that on a kerb a month ago.

This is the only reason I get sad we dont have snow. No fun parking spots for my jeep...

I miss doing that :'(
My first 4 years of driving were spread between a XJ and a ZJ, use to do that all the time.

He also took half the roof off in winter, so props for that, too.

From the looks of it, that might be a little more than it can handle.
Looks high-centered....

Oh god is that Rookwood?
I'm betting on Rookwood.
I have seen some crazy stuff going on involving parking and expensive cars in that place. Folks in this town be having too much money.

What's ironic about this picture? Is it implied irony because a Wrangler is in its native habitat — a mall?

Yeah, I was wondering how the guy pictured got out. That's quite a plummet from the driver's door, and onto steep snow. Maybe he climbed out the passenger side.

You mean the suspension travel?

Obligatory picture of my XJ ripped from Facebook

Ha I thought the additional parking sign right in front of it was ironic. But I've been called wrong before. I agree that the mall is a jeeps habitat, but this one in particular looked ready for the wild

Goddamn it! I'm jealous. Everytime I try to do this in my XJ I wind up driving into/through the snow bank.

Must be a blonde because the driver door should be on the high side.
